Publications
I have been in publishing in various forms since 1985.
I am the author and photographer of three books: Views from the Sleeping Bear was released in 1998 and Views of Mackinac Island was published in 2000. Traverse City, from Farmstead to Lakeshore premiered in 2006.
I have also been the photographer for three cookbooks. History from the Hearth, a book of authentic recipes from Fort Michilimackinac was released in 1997. The Cooks’ House was released in 2009. My latest publication is Kitchen Alchemy. For this book I made the photographs with the authors at a charming farmhouse in Hexham, England in 2010.
I have also been the art director for more than 20 books, many which also included my photographs. I have been art director for Traverse, Northern Michigan’s Magazine, and Mackinac Living magazine. Since 2009 I have been art director for Spirituality & Health, which is published six times a year.
